As many of you will be aware, 13th July is “GIST Awareness Day” in the International Calendar.
This is a day to raise awareness that rare GIST Cancer exists and that our patients need support and research for improved treatments and a ultimately a cure.
GIST patient advocacy groups all over the world use this day to raise awareness of GIST Cancer.
This year we have chosen to launch GIST Cancer UK’s Awareness day appeal in the hope that everyone will spread the word and find all possible ways to help us raise funds for more patient support and research and to address the dent that COVID-19 has put in our income.
