We are looking for new Trustees – could it be you?

Hello everyone,
As you are hopefully aware, GIST Cancer UK is managed by a Trustee board who are all volunteers.
Most of our team are either GIST patients, carers or family friends.

Sheena Kynoch has been our Charity Secretary from the start in 2009!

We have regretfully accepted that Sheena wishes to retire and are now looking to find her replacement.

The Charity Secretary is an officer responsible for keeping the ‘conscience’ of our charity, ensuring decisions are in line with the governing documents, and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience in any of the following management capacities will be helpful:

• Charity
• Financial
• Legal
• General
• Operations

Accompanied by good communication, organisational & business IT skills.

This is a rewarding hands-on position that will help drive GIST Cancer UK’s future and improve the support and research available to GIST patients.

We are looking for a friendly and motivated person to join our team and help us achieve our charitable aims.

For more information and to apply for this post, please write to sheenak@gistcancer.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

The Trustees, GIST Cancer UK
