July is traditionally Sarcoma Awareness month and July 13th is International GIST Awareness Day.
During July, GCUK’s Medical Advisry Board Chair was interviewed by Specialist Sarcoma Nurse/ Sarcoma UK helpline’s Helen Stradling, to discuss the sorts of questions raised by newly diagnosed GIST patients and their families and flag the support that is available to patients, their families and friends .
