Dinnington Town F.C. Fundraising for GIST Cancer UK

Lee Brown was first diagnosed with GIST cancer 6 years ago.
Lee and his family and friends have been amazing in putting on a variety of fun challenges and events designed to raise awareness of GIST Cancer and raise funds for GIST Cancer UK.

Determined to beat his target of £20,000, Lee has joined his local football club “Dinnington Towns” over 45s team and they will be raising funds and awareness for GIST Cancer, throughout the season, finishing with their “party on the pitch” event.

The team plays to a good standard and a few Saturdays ago, they faced ex-England player Chris Waddles team!

Playing in their GIST Cancer UK kit has attracted attention internationally and there have been requests for shirts to be sent to other footballing GIST patients across the world.

As a result, Dinnington Town FC are now kindly making the football shirts available to purchase for £30 with a £5 donation going to GIST Cancer UK for every shirt sold!

If you would like to purchase a shirt please email andymarshalluto@gmail.com with your order.  Any donations can be made on Lee’s Facebook fundraising page
